My goal this summer is to read one new book a week. Last weeks read was An Abundance of Katherines, and you can check out my review of it here! This week, I decided to take a trip back to the fantasy genre, and read A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.
Hi! As you may have known from my last few posts, this summer I am trying to get a lot more reading done. Basically, I have always loved to read and there was a few years throughout my life where I was always reading a new book. And I miss that, so this summer I am trying to read (at least) one new book a week. This weeks read was An Abundance of Katherines by John Green.
I have always been a big reader. Ever since I was a kid, one of my favourite things to do was either go to the library or the bookstore, and stroll through the aisles forever. But, as school got busier, I read less (lame excuse, I know).
Now that all schools are out, it officially feels like summer. And though I’m working for the whole summer (minus two weeks), I’m still excited for it all to start – as I do (usually) like my job!
Although I am absolutely terrible at doing tags myself, I love them. I love reading through people’s posts, finding out their answers, and finding new blogs in the process as well! So when Gayle tagged me to take part in the Bloggers Support Bloggers tag, I was excited to take part and grateful that she tagged me in it. So first and foremost, if you haven’t already, please go and check out her blog! I’d also like to take a moment to thank Jirah for creating this tag!
It’s not you. It’s society. It’s the way we have been trained to perceive ourselves. But it sucks to look in the mirror and hate what you see. It sucks to know that you can’t wave a wand or snap your fingers and instantly be the size you want.
Hi! I used to share my products (makeup and skincare) with you all a lot. The main theme on my blog was sort of beauty/skin care, and I miss sharing that with you! I was going through my makeup/skincare products yesterday and noticed that I had quite a lot of empty products (and a few I’m just not using anymore) and I thought I would share them with you.
